Cage traps could help minimize or eliminate your problem. Comstock & Tomahawk make good ones. Just make sure that there's a mechanism to reopen the doors if you plan to release/relocate. If you intend to dispatch them that doesn't matter. I have older Comstocks with no such mechanism, but it's only squirrels so no biggie. Coons are another story. Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

Got a new chain on the Stihl Kombi pole saw and spent a few hours clearing out all the bushes that have grown up around our big pond - got all but the thicker trunks out. I'll get those after I get the chainsaw back. I still have to clear the small pond - which is even more overgrown than the large one but that will wait until tomorrow.

Today we head out to get Lynn and gold lesson and to get me fitted for a new set of clubs. An early birthday present for me!

i may pull out the traps.
It’s usually a couple of times and then they can’t find any grubs, they move on.
I got a camera out now so I’ll see if it’s just one or a invasion lol.

My grandfather had a big ass reel mower with a sulky? Ride along attachment that would pivot in the middle. It was a beast….

 

A 220 Conibear fits perfect in the opening of a cat litter bucket, one marshmallow for bait. Caught one just yesterday early AM, I heard it trip. He didn't make it to the bait, which was about halfway back (bucket was laying down).
