On month 6 of waiting for my TRD OR. Dealer just called and said they have a 2022 Limited coming in army green. Not a big fan of the chrome wheels but I am leaning towards buying it before I have to dump money into my 2014 OR.

Question I have, has anyone installed the TRD lift kit on their Limited? Do they replace the chrome grille with the TRD inspired grille? Pics?

    Oh look, another mod....

I think you should wait. If you're going to pay a lot of money for something; You should get exactly what you want, and nothing less.

The TRD lift kit is way overpriced.

IMHO its sold on the basis of 1) warranty and 2) we can roll that into your debt (financing).

    Get the truck you want.

What I am finding out is that it is rare to get exactly what you want. Buy...you get what you need.

Seriously though, most important is that I get a Tacoma 4x4. I figure in a year if I decide its not the right one for me I trade it in. Given the current market depreciation is minimal, and I would rather use the money to drive around a new vehicle now versus throwing it into my 2014.

You keep saying, throw money into a 2014.

    What money?

I've seen older Tacoma's go on without costly repairs as long as maintenance was kept up.

    I'd keep the 2014 :burp:
