Just to add my experiences as well. Ordered a set of sliders on November 30 last year. It’ll be 21 weeks this Tuesday with money out of my pockets and no sliders. A few more weeks and these sliders will have a longer lead time than it took for my Brute Force HC swingout bumper!

I spoke with them on the phone a couple times in February and March and apparently they’ve been at the powder coater the whole time.

I have zero confidence that I’ll see these before the first big wheeling trip of the year in mid May.

It’s unfortunate because I like the look of their stuff but I won’t be ordering anything else from this company until they somehow manage to turnaround this reputation.

Thanks for the update--good to see some positive news for ya!

Part of my "beef" is not just the (mis)communication issues, but the lack of follow-up and lack of follow-through (i.e., broken "promises").

But I do hope they come through, for your sake and theirs! Let us know once your truck is done, and share pics :D:thumbsup:

Yeah man, I hate to hear how some people are getting screwed...and because I know these guys personally it sucks to hear. I know they're trying, but they have more orders than they can deal with. I know they did move to a newer larger location earlier this year to help get better production times. I'll try to talk to them and give some feedback on the issues I am hearing about here and see if I can't help both sides out.

My truck is at their shop currently, not sure what all has been installed yet. Once I get an update I'll post it up.

Nope. Might call them later today. I’m at over 21 weeks for a pair of sliders now.

I’ve been waiting to share my side because I decided to file a dispute, and didn’t want to bad mouth anyone during. But I wanted to share my side even tho it’s not for sliders

When I talked to someone on the phone at the time I placed my order on November 9th, I was originally quoted 8-10 weeks as well. They let me pay half down and I thought that was really cool of them. At 11 weeks I was called to make the second half of my payment because the order was finished and going to be shipped out the following week as to not have a bump in the shipping process. At 13 weeks I was told that the order hadn’t been finished and it was going to be another two weeks. So of course I call again to check and am told another week. So on and so forth this kept happening. At week 20 I tried gettin ahold of them for an update. I finally get ahold of them and they had told me that the order was completely finished, that it was getting wrapped up, put on a pallet to ship, and to call the shop the following Wednesday to get my tracking info. On week 22 I finally got a hold of someone and they told me that I was misinformed and my order hadn’t been completed at all. The bumper was still in the fabrication process and that it would be another few weeks + until it was done.

At this point I was just over it, the constant run around, and I didn’t feel good about supporting this company and cutting my entire rear of my truck to fit a bumper. If I would of known this it wouldn’t have been an issue but the constant next week shipping speech kept me on the line for almost three times the original lead time.

I emailed them and told them I would be filing a dispute but would give it some time. They responded immediately on a Sunday night of all things and said they would call me the next day. No call. Gave it the time frame I said I would, decided to file the dispute. They never reached out to fix the issue and never even responded to the PayPal dispute. I’m just happy it’s done and already placed an order to wait again for another rear bumper with a company I feel more confident with

I hope they can figure out how to make this work for their sake because reading all the same things doesn’t make me feel great about their future.

I’ve been asking around the forums on the ‘official’ EO thread and no one seems to have gotten their late parts. I called, left a voice mail and e-mailed them this week and haven’t heard anything. Maybe it’s time I consider a chargeback…

It's great to hear that some people are getting their sliders.
I'm not sure if it helps me understand the pattern, but I'm happy to hear that you are getting yours.

MLO is a different shop. Also local (to NE) and has a solid reputation.

Yep, I was thinking this has business FAILURE written all over it. I just hope people don't get screwed in a Pelfreybilt kind of way.

While I agree, I also don't think that MLO is a fab shop.
I don't think they are making the sliders that eminence978 mentioned.

I could be completely misunderstanding, but what I've understood is that @eminence978 ordered through MLO and got sliders in a couple months that were manufactured by EO.

There are plenty of us who've ordered directly through EO, who've been waiting much longer.

Really?! It does look like MLO fabs up their own stuff: https://www.mainlineoverland.com/products/main-line-overland-sliders-bolt-on-2005-2nd-3rd-gen-tacoma

Of course, he could have possibly ordered EO sliders through MLO...but that would seem odd to me.

    Apologies, I completely misunderstood.

MLO clearly doesn't resell anything from any other vendor, and fab all of their own stuff.

    No prob!

But apparently I was wrong too:anonymous:...looks like MLO does partner with a few dozen vendors...but EO is not listed as one of them.

Anyways, fingers crossed all works out for everyone in this thread:fingerscrossed:

@everyone: Make sure to come back here with any updates on your orders!

Same experience. I ordered mine November 24 and still haven’t got them. Over the past two months, they told me on several occasions my order was ready to ship, then nothing. Radio silence. I don't know if they are lying to get me off the phone or if their process is that jacked up, but I lost all faith and confidence in this company. Definitely not ordering anything else from them.
