    The nuts and 2 tape method is pretty standard for electric motors in industry, done correctly it is just about trouble free for the life of the motor.

    Cole and I were watching ask this old house and they demonstrated chainsaw chaps. Cole said I need some. I said yes I do. I really need to get some.

    A couple years ago the kids and I rode over to do something where we hunt so I threw the big saw in the truck to cut a low hanger back. The saw grabbed and hit my pants. Got lucky, not a scratch on me. It could have been bad. We were a ways from the road and not a house around. My wife didn’t even know I had the saw with me.

    I have always worked alone and try to make a concerned effort for my own safety.
    At the old job I had 1000's of (peaceful) hours in the empty building.
    If something bad happens it is going to be a long time before someone finds me.
