Today I told my Tacoma she is beautiful without trying too hard, after seeing this.

Installed my Thule Xsporter Pro rack today. Now I can haul my canoes more safely. Unfortunately the way the bed is shaped this is the lowest setting for the bars...I'd rather have them sitting a couple inches lower for daily driving but meh, I can live with it.

 

Going to pick up my boat tomorrow. Wife asked how she could help. I suggested she grease the shaft. Unfortunately she knew what I meant.

 

Ahhh my retinas!!

 

I have that same exact step stool, with slightly different stains lol I use that thing all the time

 

This makes me feel better as this is my next project. Going to install with Leer topper on.

 

How difficult is it to remove the rack when not in use?

 

Curious, what's it weigh and how much does it cost?

J/K. The finished product looks great. I've been looking at SSO's rear bumper since it dropped. Dig the hidden hitch.

 

Did you ever install this? Just curious how it looked... I'm considering the same, but without the topo.

 

Now that it's all set up, I suspect it would take 10 minutes to take off and about 20 to put back on.

 

Went to change the oil today and the drain plug was on so tight. Could not get it off. Wound up getting it done at a quickie lube place. ‍♂️ So pissed. Then I went to do the brakes. 3 lug nuts were on so tight that I had to use the tire iron to loosen them. But besides that, this was the easiest brake job I have ever done.

 

Removed the bed side decals on my OR and went to install the all black decals but what POS they were packed all bunched up and full of wrinkles. I gave up after trying to install them. Yes I have installed lots of complete car decals, but the end result is it doesn't look bad bare box

I added two more tie downs in the front of the bed on the bottom of the bed to pin down loads. I removed the stock star bolts in the bed corners, and put steel tie-downs that i bought from a guy here on tacomaworld. I used three stainless washers under each bolt to make it work. I cut out little sections of my bed mat and it isn’t perfect, but its strong as hell, and works great.

 

Avid Off Road sliders arrived yesterday..promptly installed!

Armordillo Chase Rack and Spare Tire carrier. I also said I would never do raptor lights, but here we are….
