For Stock Rigs Only

I'm civil service in an active duty squadron now, retired from active duty 2009. Last 2-3, maybe 4, higher headquarters inspections the inspectors are so young, and I'm so old, they haven't asked anything of substance. I invite them into the office, give 'em a coffee/energy drink. Talk over our edbeverages, then they leave. Nothing directed at me nor asked to "demonstrate" anything. My boss always asks in the morning if they were in and found anything. Tell him "yes and nothing." Seems he's always surprised as the other sections were getting grilled.

I'm starting to think that my age and size intimidates younger troops to the point they don't want to confront me.

 

Also, this was my ride of the day. I forget the model, but it had 150 miles on it. He hit six cones throughout the event, I'm amazed he wasn't afraid to drive it. But he was using launch control on every start, and hitting a cone or two each run.

I never ended up buying @Sig45's tent, so I'm lacking the tent, and mattress to make it comfy

 

That tent would have been perfect for that.

 

@FlyingWolfe sure was right about the fluffies. Definitely not the most comfortable back seat to lay in. Also the front seats don't fold flat, so that's not much good either. Definitely will be investing in the bed tent for future adventures
