    Hi all,

I bought a 4 port panel mount with 2 cigarette lighter sockets and 2 USB sockets. I realized that they will not come with a wire harness to connect them.

I will be running one single positive to the panel and one negative out. Any suggestions or pictures on how to create the harness to connect these. Preferably no soldering, but I can if I have to.

    Thanks!

do they include spade terminals? i would just use the spade terminals as a junction with crimping and wire it exactly as that diagram shows.

They do not include spade terminals. That's what I was hoping to use. I've got lots kicking around.

Is it as simple as jamming two 14 gauge wires in there and crimping? Seems too easy!

I guess just find a spade connector that fits them?

    Thanks,

    Scott

It is that simple. Try to find spade terminals that will accept 10 gauge wire if you can, those will take 2/14 gauge easily.

10 gauge with a spade connector will do the trick. And run an appropriate fuse to handle the load. And don't forget the ground, it needs to match the gauge of the positive wire.

Also, if the connectors are open to the elements, then make sure you use some dielectric grease on them to prevent corrosion.
