I used the AC Delco e-brake cables, now that I matched the numbers, they are for the 2005-2015 Tacomas, they match up to the SOS kit. I heard too many complaints with the cables that come with the old kit.

I do not like those rubber hoses that come with the kit, I went the stainless steel route.

The holes do not match to our tacomas, but how about the center hole does it clear it?

I love this, it might be a ton of work but pretty cool in the end. Now im curious if any of this would fit a 5 lug first gen, that would be pretty killer.

I don't think so, the rotors in the rear are 6 lugs in all the kits I have seen, you may have to google 5 lug rear disc tacoma conversion and see what comes up.

Im not sure of the axle differences between the two, but if they are the same length and width and same bolt pattern it could work, but thats alot of if's ive never had a 5lug and a six lug pulled apart next to each other but I bet you could put a whole 6lug rear end under a 5 lug by replacing the spring perches.

Low Range makes a tank skid for our trucks that uses the stock mounting points.

One of the axels started to leak and it turned out that the 1st mechanic did not use the OEM seals that I gave him. So, I just had the inner and outer seals replaced and the center pinion gasket as well. There is absolutely NO LEAKS ! Now
