One of the challenges in using Iron-X is to achieve a uniform application on the vehicle's paint.

What are your thoughts about using a paint roller to achieve a full coating? The rolling action should not impart scratches.

Haven't tried it yet, but I will on my next decon wash.

You asked for opinions, so here's mine. I don't think you'd gain anything since 100% uniform coverage isn't really that important in my experience. As long as you spray out a relatively even coating, I think you're fine. Besides, anything you touch your paint surface with theoretically will scratch / mar it - if only at a microscopic level. Just my 2 cents.

There are plenty of fall out/iron removers you can put in a foam cannon. Makes it quick and coverage is not an issue.
