    Hello all,
The wife and I just put down a deposit on a 2022 Barcelona Red Taco TRD Off-Road. Estimated arrival is mid-April. Looking forward to “mild” upgrades going forward.

Also, first brand new car the wife or I have bought. 1C72420D-A543-40A2-998B-21674B2EED11.jpg

Welcome! Disclaimer I have a second gen, so there might be some 3rd gen upgrades i'm unaware of (probably a lot you can do to help the highly complained about transmission shift points)

I think one of the better investments is a standard steel rear bumper.
I also very much enjoy the seat risers I added, made the drive so much more comfortable and made the truck feel like I was driving a truck and not a sedan.
A good bed cap is always a plus as well. I went with a softopper.

speaking of “bad shift points” I also test drove a new Frontier and that 9 speed was slow to respond to throttle. So much it makes take off extremely jumpy.

Dealership had a Tundra in the same color… you are absolutely correct. I’m happy with it.

Congratulations! I would say the wait goes by quick, but it feels like an eternity. Lol! Just got mine today after a couple months and love it thus far. Rides great and very comfortable.
