This Motor Biscuit thing. Started showing up in my Google-centric feeds about a year ago. Wonder if it is the same for Apple platform. Anyway, sounds like a circle jerk of payola and I wonder how to break that game.

Edit: I sure am not helping myself when I actually click on the damn link.

Depends on the terrain. Bigger trucks are bad offroad for most people simply because they are too big and too heavy to be versatile enough to be good. If you're in an open, arid and relatively flat area then the Raptor will be great, that's about it though. It's a big heavy truck made for offroad conditions where you can go fast. Literally every time I see a Raptor offroad around here they are backing up a trail because the truck can't fit/can't make a turn (and everyone is rolling their eyes wondering wtf are they thinking) or they are sunk in the mud/highcentered on something.

I would be happy if Tacomas were smaller again.

Raptor I agree with, same for the ZR2, both have off-road suspension, tires, and front/rear bumpers and skid plates…..but the Power Wagon is only good for pulling stuck mofos out, otherwise it’s one of the worst trucks for off-roading IMO.

Ironman Foamcell 3" lift, ARB dual compressor, GoPro mount, BadElf mount, Drive grab handle, RCI skids, Victory sliders, half rack, TuffStuff Alpha ll RTT, Dometic 75 Fridge, extra USB & Outlets
Everyone gets their $0.02 worth in and that’s their $0.02.

I do like #1 for off road, the others are too big

I hate to say it, but America's premier off-roader always has been, and will continue to be, a plain white base F250.

Aka the rural hay-hauler of choice for ranch hands and roughnecks alike.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks

I dunno. My banker uncle had a '65 Catalina with a removed deck lid and snow tires (used as 'mud tires') on the rear that he used to run around his 250 acre hobby farm. The ole Cat was one my Aunt had put about 100k on. :D

The land and cattle component was his 'hobby', but it was self sustaining with a tenant farmer by tobacco and corn crops. It was land that my grandparents owned and where he and mom were born, so it was meaningful to him in other ways too.........
