I'm measuring up ride heights as I contemplate new dampers and a mild lift. I've been reading that almost everyone has to some degree, a lean to the driver's side; due to the weight of the fuel tank, battery and/or other possibilities.

I've measured three times now on a even surface and find I have NO lean- front or rear. I have about a 2/3's full gas tank. Stock (Sport) suspension all the way around.

    20.5" front (driver's and passenger's sides)
    21.75" rear (d&p sides)

Anyone else or is my truck just an outlier? :)

I haven't ever measured it but just looking at it sitting in the driveway sometimes it has a lean, most of the time it doesn't. Third owner but I'm pretty sure it's stock SR5 suspension with the recall leafs.

We might be in the minority :) as there are probably no less than a dozen products/methods marketed as "fixing" the Tacoma lean; guess I'll save a little $ as (currently anyways) I have no lean :D

Yeah but I put a fat gal on the passenger side to level it out. Gets expensive though.Feed her AND feed the gas tank.

I do see it more often then I should, it's not like the engineers didn't know which side has more weight stock and to compensate somewhat.

Appears mine isn't the only outlier :); from perusing the threads appears we are definitely in the minority.

I'm going to add another spare to my vehicle in the bed, I hadn't gave it much thought, but now will put it on the passenger side just in case!

I might be tellin' tall tales from school, but I always heard that there is something about stock suspension that compensates for lean. Could be wrong. Most people don't experience lean until they either wear out their stockers or they replace with aftermarket.
