    Happy hump day CT.
Left work early yesterday because I was feeling terrible from the 2nd Covid shot that I got Monday night.

Thursday looks to be awesome weather wise.

    Good morning CT.
Happy Friday eve. It supposed to be nice today, get out there and enjoy it.
Pay is increasing. Also got paid for those online tests I did.

I've been seeing a lot of Jeeps (Wrangler) that are kitted out for off-road but I wonder how many of them actually go off road.

Bringing my truck in on Saturday to do some much needed maintenance. Oil is way over due and there is stuff in the blower motor that I need to clean out (vibration on high speed).

Continuing with the harness tonight. It's also long overdue, just like the oil.

    Those are mostly mall crawlers....
Mostly I've noticed the ones that have true rock sliders on are usually the ones that actually off-road.
    But to each their own.
I knew a guy that had his all kitted out and wouldn't even park in the grass at a party I was attending...
Granted probably one of the cleanest Jeeps I've seen.

Saw a jeep apocalypse on the road in person yesterday. Initially amazed seeing and hearing one in person.

Then I remembered its just a jeep and this dude was likely compensating for something else.

I'm off to Alabama for the weekend to see if I get Rookie of the year.
Little nervous, more looking just to have a good time.
Haven't flown in like 20 years, and I'm definitely not looking forward to it.
Maybe if it was a little prop plan or helicopter...that would be cool.
Much rather drive, I don't like not having control.

You might be cool but are you two hi-lift jacks cool? This Wrangler has two jacks mounted to the side of it.

What a great place to mount a hi-lift, nothing like 40 pounds of steel impaling your passengers in the event of an impact to the side

Beyond the obvious safety concerns, that's just asking to act as an anchor on a tree branch or rock...yknow if it ever left the pavement :anonymous:

So this was weird..... Noticed my passenger rear tire was nearly flat today. Only had 10 psi. So I aired up to 30 psi and inspected for a screw or nail. Nothing. Couldn't even hear a leak. Left it alone four 4-5 hrs and checked pressure again. Still holding at 30 psi. Drove it like 50 miles and still fine.

Only thing I can think of to explain it is that a few days ago I let some air out now that the weather is warming up. They were up to 37 psi due to the warmth. Felt like driving a cement truck. Wondering if the valve stem got stuck slightly open and thats how I lost pressure.

Anyway, gonna keep an eye on it now for a bit.
