    Hey TW,
    Starting my build thread for my new to me 2017 Tacoma double cab long bed TRD Offroad!
    I sold my travel trailer because I grew tired of RV campground prices and higher than hell gas prices so I have been taking an interest in Overlanding. I have owned Toyota's my whole life.
    My first truck was a 1983 Hilux 4x4, then a 1985 Toyota truck 4x4, then a 91' Toyota Pickup extended cab V6, then a 92' 4 Runner 4X4 V6, then back to a 1983 Hilux 4x4, then a 2013 Toyota Tacoma DCSB TRD Sport 4X4, and now this 2017 Tacoma!
    My 4 kids have grown and now I finally have some time and money to invest in myself. This last Thanksgiving at the end of 2021 I was hit hard by COVID and got Pneumonia from it and just as I was recovering 3 weeks later, I had a severe heart attack. I realized that life is short and every day is a blessing. I need to start doing the things that I enjoy now and stop waiting to enjoy my life later when I retire.
    So without further ado... here she is as purchased from a good friend of mine in January 2022. Flat front tire included.:)

    While I waited for all my stuff to come in at 4 wheel parts...
    I ordered 5.5" lift 700lb rear springs from Lou Weldon @ Alcan. He quickly talked me into purchasing Rear Spring Hangers and Shackles from BAMF to compliment the new springs. He also talked me into a Rear Spring U-Bolt Flip Kit with Bump Stops.
    What a stand up guy and he explained the build process for their springs which was cool to hear.
    No rear lift blocks for this guy....:thumbsup:

    I picked up some Ditch Light brackets from CBI along with some Baja Designs Squadron Sports. These lights are quite bright for not being the Pro model. Very happy with these!

    Back at the beginning of March I also placed an order with Brute Force Fab in Clovis to build me some bumpers and sliders!
    Billy does amazing work and I can't wait to see how they look on my truck. He is a busy go though, and I believe my order won't be ready until July Possibly.
    I went with the High Clearance Dual swing out rear with mounts for gas, water, and propane tank. A plate front bumper with hoop and headlight protection and weld on removable sliders with fill plates.
    This truck is going to be HEAVY.... but indestructible :amen:
