( The new replacement one and the shaft direct below it that pulls the cardboard through the machine to cut slots into it ). I just walked away in complete disbelief.

I grab some parts to start a subassembly and saw the machine work on this bearing housing.

There is absolutely no edge distance left on this threaded hole, something that would be scrapped anywhere else. I show the supervisor and he says 'what's the problem? It will be fine, just use it"

had to leave it for the day so that our sales team can properly prepare him for TWO more bills, effectively paying twice for both A and B, as we had thrown out the original stuff for A and B was already in progress too.

and of course, no admittance of his mistake in the e mail, or apology for being brash....reminds me of the parents I have who will email me and berate me for not letting them know about concerts or practices, and then i resend them the email that I sent out previous with all of the information. I usually either get no reply, or a "oh, we don't check our email that much"

he's also the owner of a HUGE building/contracting company. Always with the "I'm very busy and very important" brisk tone to emails and calls. I wanna just scream at him some days - like maybe if you slowed down just a tad and paid attention to the details you wouldn't be quite so busy in the end because you wouldn't be causing these crisis situations that need constant attention!

oh yeah...they have "hockey" in Colorado....

j/k....my MOST FAVORITE series of games was the Av's/Detroit playoff series in 97 and into 98...to me, that was the pinnacle of hockey....and not because of the fighting, but becasue of the intensity of the rivalry. You don't see that anymore ini the game. And I really don't like Detroit (but don't tell my wife that. She worked for them back then as a skating coach, and is from Detroit))

he's not one of those. but he does constantly try to do two things at once and fails miserably every time but never changes his habits. he'll be reading/sending emails while you're talking to him face to face. irritates the shit out of me. wanna snap my fingers under his nose and "yoo-hoo, over here! focus! focus! as i was saying...."

been an Av's fan ever since they moved there. Mainly a Roy fan TBH. Been kinda tough after his brief coaching stint. late 90's to early 00's were good times. also hate the wings so your secret is safe!
