I made my hitch, took the aluminum piece out behind the bumper and put this in. Had to add a couple braces that you can't see because the stock plates aren't really that strong.

This is the plate I made for the winch a long time ago.

I can put it in either of my trucks or on the front of the trailer(s) to winch stuff up on as well.

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
That's definitely one of the uses. I've seen them used as front mounts for bike racks/motorcycle racks a few times, but I haven't seen one used for that before! Good use of it IMO

One manufacturer used to make a Tacoma front bumper with a receiver hitch built-in. They discontinued it and no one has taken up the slack. Makes so much sense to have your winch on a plate and transfer were needed.

Had my 20k service done yesterday. Only one Tacoma on the lot. It was a lime pro fresh off the transport they got it in the back and hidden real quick. Barely any Toyotas on the lot really.

Took me a few hours to put them on and lost a couple clips along the way. Make sure you pull the clips from the window (triangle) off the door before reinstalling. Enjoy!!

So my door panels look like shit. Anyone have a solution to refresh them or can I hit up Toyota for a warranty replacement?

Mine are getting that way too. I find the plastic scratches easy and is difficult to clean.
Hey, I have that same water bottle. don't put it in the dishwasher to disinfect, the paint will peel off.

That is normal wear and tear...dealer prob wont do anything. Just try to keep from rubbing on it with dirty clothes.

If you zoom in on this pic the trail ahead is the way back from Geology Tour Loop. Headed in there are signs posted that recommend 4WD. Berdoo Canyon trail recommends 4WD as well as high clearance.

Didn’t see anyone else while out there, kind of nice and unsettling at the same time lol. Long walk back to pavement in either direction and lots of yellow jackets to keep you company. :D
