I bought my 22 TRD OR in January, I’ve done all the mods I wanted and now I’m a little bummed. I upgraded to Pro suspension, Pro wheels, Duratracs, a prinsu rack with pelican cases on my topper, skid plate, shift knob etc. I paid it off when i signed the papers, so i already have the title mod too. it sort of feels like how it felt beating a video game years ago and thinking well that was fun, now what? I guess I can just keep an eye on the what have you done to your 3rd Gen lately page and hope to find something that catches my eye. At least my wallet can take a break. What has anybody else done to cope in this situation.

Well what do you want to do with it? Mall crawler? Back road explorer? Serious off road-er? Start with some rock sliders?

Drive away and make lasting memories!

You built it, now enjoy it.
    Find trails to ride
    Take long-distance road trips
Create a small community of truck enthusiasts and plan weekend trips/camping, etc.

You just got started, there's a whole list of adventures to do and don't worry about mods you'll find more of them along the road.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Caribou season starts in July followed by the salmon run so I’ll have plenty of opportunity to put it to the test. We don’t really have any malls here to crawl, but there’s always Fred Meyer I suppose.

Do they use road salt in your part of Alaska? If yes, then you may want to look at doing regular fluid film or the like maintenance. Also, just quit Tacoma World and other social media. Enjoy what you have now. Especially the little ones. Long box was a good decision as well IMHO.

The salt certain roads during certain times of the year, but for the most part they don’t bother with it because it gets too cold. I’ve already given up on social media a couple years ago. I actually had a flip phone until about a year ago. Tacoma world has been the best and worst decision at the same time. The best for the support and knowledge. Worst for my wallet.

long bed was a no brainer for me. Those extra few inches make all the difference.

Drive it and enjoy it for a while now that you've sunk all those Super Mario coins into it. I kept my stock for close to 5 years before I started buying a few things here and there and it's still mostly stock. :notsure:

Seems like every 3-4 months users drop off the forums and new ones arrive on "what have you done to your third gen today." There's always something interesting to buy or look into.

Lots of other sub forums are worth looking into if you like projects / tinkering/ exploring the outdoors.
