    Few questions

How many drops on applicator when doing a section?

How long I Waite before removing?

Do I have to use 2 towels to remove it?

Enough to create a line across applicator when starting with a new one. As you move to new sections only a few new drops. Wax, coating, sealant even on surfaces that aren't car paint is always less is more. Too thick will fight you when it comes time to wipe away. The amount of coating you apply needs to be almost unmeasurably thin.

Usually you wait until the carrier solvent flashes away but this will vary by product. Need to look into the brands recommendation as it will vary. However the same product will vary depending on the temperature like a 90 degree day vs a 30 degree because the solvent will take longer to flash in the cold. Some products are wipe away as soon as you're done spreading it. Wouldn't be a bad idea to test it out on a panel the day you do the work.

The first towel will get oversaturated with coating (another reason to apply thin) so you tend to push the coating around as the applicator pad changes directions you leave a pile of the coating at the edges of the section you're applying to (2'x2' section). If not spotted and wiped away these will leave high spots that need to be found sooner than later because when they cure it will be a dull raised spot on the paint. Before it cures and you find a high spot just apply a bit of coating, the solvent will help break the ceramic down and you can wipe it away. That's why the second towel is used because it has less product on it so it will catch these spots.

Same technique with glass, if the rag is too wet all you're doing is smearing the product around. So if the second towel gets too wet you'll need a third.

It would be helpful to know which coating you are applying as the flash time is different for all of them. I would suggest YouTube for videos on your specific product.

After completing the neccessary paint prep steps, follow the manufactures directions/recommendations. They are not all the same regarding application of the coating.

If you still have questions, please provide a detailed question that includes the coating manufacturer name, actual coating product, and what part of the directions you do not understand.

While there are some basic "rules of thumb" and/or guidelines to follow regarding coatings, your question is very vague, so we need a lot more info from you before giving you any advice. Your question is like, how do you fly an airplane? There's way to many variables.......
