I just got a 2nd gen 2nd time owning a Tacoma. This one is a 2009 no badging on sides to indicate which version. It is a 2wd prerunner. It has the V6, Auto Trans, Rear plug for 110 outlet in bed, reverse camera in mirror, hood scoop, painted front bumper that matches truck. I was wondering could this be a TRD Sport model? The truck has a lift already installed so cant look for old shocks. Thanks guys!

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
There are several free VIN decoders that you just plug in on the internet and will provide all kinds of details on the vehicles production.

Sounds like a Sport. Unless maybe someone swapped hoods. That is pretty much the same way my 2009 Sport 4x4 is equipped and painted.

From your description it sounds like a TRD Sport but you can put your vin in the Toyota owners website and get a what it was equipped with.

Like others have said....the scooped hood and paint matched bumpers tells us it's a sport unless of course previouse owner swapped them in.

I thought only Trd models came with the inventors in the bed or did that include sr5 too?

On gen 2.5 in addition to what’s listed above they came with color matched signal mirrors, colored match grille surrounds, led tails and 17” alloy rims. Outside of the mirrors and tails not sure how much of that relates to older models.

    Edit:
Not sure but I think I remember reading something about the front seats being different in sport models too.

Its a TRD sport unless it has a rear locker, but hood scoop, color matched stuff leads me to believe 99.9% sure its a sport.
