    Morning PA! :hattip:

Definitely a soggy one out there! We've had so much rain recently the cistern is full, so I had to route gutter flow out. It looks like the overflow is going into the septic? Yea that's no bueno, especially with all this rain. Gonna have to redo that eventually...

Did the same thing. The second time I cut it this week. Finished up just in time to catch the start of the hockey game.

My yard is puddled. Even one part of the sidewalk is covered with an inch or so of water and it is still raining. Looks like the grass will need cut again soon.

Let's hope for better results on Saturday. Carter is going to need to keep his head on a swivel.

haha, yes that’s the perfect solution! If I needed a new car shortly I’d certainly consider it. Hard to justify the cost if my current vehicle is still chugging along. I need to do some math to see the payoff since I can charge for free at work. Driving 90 miles a day will make it interesting to see.

Free charging will definitely make it interesting, still hard to justify if your current daily is pretty bullet proof, and I don't know if I'd be able to give up shifting gears, one of the only things that keeps the 66 mile commute sane.

My previous employer would have gone into orbit :rocket::rocket: if someone tried charging a vehicle with company electricity. :crapstorm:

I ended up buying a used 2013 Nissan Leaf about 1.5 or 2 years ago for $6200. The battery is small(24kw) plus it's maybe %20 degraded so only apx 80 mile range. I get around 4.8 miles per kwh, and I pay about that for my electric plus I can charge for free at work and also at the local nissian dealer. I mainly use it for a commuter car back n forth to work (17) miles, 34 rnd trip. Love it but it's a third car. Taco stays in garage.

Yep EVs are still 2nd or 3rd cars, they haven't been out long enough to be an only car for the majority, I'm sure I'll eventually have one, but I'm hoping by that time it just drives me while I sleep.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! Rained all day yesterday from about 6:30 AM, still raining now. But, it's been a fairly light - but steady - rain so it seems to be soaking in ok. No big puddles in the yard or rivers of water flowing off the hill...so far.

Priced out a Lightning. For basically anything but a fleet vehicle with any options at all you're starting at 75k.

Like I can buy a new 22 Tundra for 50k. 25k buys a lot of gas.
