Lathe has a rotation switch built in i think. don’t think you need to be messing with income power

Yeah it switches phase rotation manually, but I'm not sure how a drive reacts to that kinda shit.

I previously had pretty bad luck, I've got twice the options and I still regularly strike out :/

I work for a VFD distributor. Good luck finding ones that small is all I gotta say. Were over a year out on small VFD's. Especially the single phase input ones.

Usally doesn’t like things like that, it’s normal the drive that does the switching. I seen drives blow up just because someone hit the disconnect on the load side

Just take a phase off once it gets up to speed and call it Y1, have a tech come out and hook it back up when it calls for Y2

We dont carry the ACH series, ABB is very picky on what distributors carry what. Were strictly industrial power, no HVAC.

hittin that homer isn’t all it’s cracked out to be in my experience. In fact, it’s never been good for me. Great for a few weeks. I’ll take a double and peace of mind. I like my life. Adapt or fuck off.

They're the other popular option, from what I've heard they meet the requirements for a parking brake and they're not very good as regular rear brakes

Well yea, you're absolutely correct. That's why I mentioned I know people in the biz lol.

Cause maybe @Speedytech7 would be willing to take a used one cause I know a guy that knew a guy who upgraded a panel cause a customer grew bigger and had to pull old vfds out for new bigger ones. When i was building panels I came across that frequently enough that I learned the old ones sit on a shelf some where till they come across the "just incase" scenario

An Automation Direct GS2 off ebay would be my first go to as far as used drives for a milling machine. Cheap and easy to use. Made by Delta which makes Drives for a lot of brands under different names.
