    I hear mixed things about the warranty. Most people say they have never been caught. I have no idea. I want to tune mine but the warranty is too important to me at the moment.

    I’ve been told the dealer “can’t” detect the tune, so I’m not 100% sure on that.
    I know a tune makes a big difference for these 3.5s. I have a 2016 off-road that has the KDMax tune and it considerably noticeable from the 22.

    Yeah, I ordered the VFtuner last Thursday. Hopefully, it’ll show up soon so I can upload the tune. I hate the lack of low end Toyota tunes the motors with.

    Yeah we have a dealer here in AZ sells MSRP on all cars. You think awesome, then they low ball you 15% on your trade in my case 7k. Look at the overall cost. Great if you have no trade but then you pay 4k in sales tax.

    A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
    So the damage is repaired.. it cost 250 to pull the metal back out. And another 100 in paint. The backyard is completely OK.

    The rci sliders, which would have prevented all this are done.. Dont offroad , or get run off highway 14 in Fort Collins CO with out sliders

    Put the turbo on! They legal can not "void" a service agreement without cause.

    So put the turbo on, but I'd your motor has future problems be ready to argue it didn't cause the failure.

    "The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act prohibits automobile manufacturers and dealers from voiding a vehicle's warranty because an aftermarket part or a part not made by the original manufacturer was installed on said vehicle"

    The dealer we bought our truck from said they have an unspoken ELG unit coming in. Their plan is to add $10k worth of parts and list it for $95,000. They said they sold a 2022 tundra for $150k in one day. People that willingly pay these prices are one of the reasons the industry is such a mess right now.
