Probably lying to you. They've told me my sliders were at the powder coaters since early March. If you look at all their positive reviews on facebook and google (can't believe they don't have a single review below 5 stars), they're all from locals who brought their trucks in. My bet is when they're in a punch they're putting our parts on local trucks... cause if your local your right in their face. If your in Canada like me, WTF are you gonna do?

Anyways, I filed a chargeback with my bank. Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon and I can take my money somewhere else... ANYwhere else really.

Agreed. Their aggressive acquisition of prepaying customers and a lack of order fulfillment sounds like a company with cashflow problems.

Ha! My sliders must be sitting next to your in that infamous powered coat queue. I would recommend filing a complaint with the State of New York Department of State Division of Customer Protection. https://dos.ny.gov/file-consumer-complaint

Yep did that earlier today too. Gonna hit up their google and facebook reviews later too. Hopefully will save someone else from making the same mistake.

Guess if I don’t get an answer at the end of the month I’ll file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I had high hopes and should’ve went with a more reputable company. I’ve been told: covid, moving, new employees, at powder coating… @2013XSPX any info?

There’s another thread here about this company that just seems to be the same thing happening with even more people. It’s a shame since they were always so nice over the phone

Hey guys. I have zero updates other than pushing to get orders fulfilled. I'm sorry for those who are having issues. I was the top sales guy and I can tell you I pushed for the fastest turnaround possible. But those were my orders. I can't speak for anyone else but I'll always try to help you guys.

Oh wow. That’s quite the comprehensive and thorough post. Well said.

I can tell you showed restraint and avoiding directly bashing the vendor and mainly stuck to the facts. Appreciate you being as objective as possible.

Let’s hope for the best, but will see how this all turns out.

Top sales guy?! I’d say you did your job and then some lol It’s the lack of follow-through that’s the biggest problem then.

Again, glad to see a local business grow and drum up new customers. But a lot of us feel like that was at the expense of “old” customers (pre-paid, but waiting for fulfillment).

I track every order I put in and was aggressive with completion is what I'm saying. The company grew insanely quick. Think about it. Lexus and Toyota and a few other major brand builds.

I value each of the people I sold to and know they are happy with the product and the value they got. I agree that lack of follow up and timelines is a failure of the company. The products are amazing though.

I did think about it. I am sure you had done everything you could for the customer while working on behalf of E.o. I know you personally had dedicated a lot time here and elsewhere for communication, etc. Don't need to defend yourself here.

Unfortunately, E.o. as a company does not seem to be hearing what so many of us are saying. We have no problem with the price. We have no problem with the product. We generally have no problem with current market conditions and the problems with the supply chain. We do have a problem with paying sometimes 5 months in advance and getting ghosted and/or non-straight answers about the order, after expecting a 2-3 month process. That's not even getting to the fact that these items are a lot of money to many people, but that's a separate conversation about time-value of money.

We do have problems with the imbalance between intentionally/actively/strategically seeking new growth vs. taking care of the current customer, without considering the impact on business operations. I really don't "buy" that the growth was entirely an accident. It was fueled by promotion. E.o. is bordering on selling things they may not be able to deliver on, which I personally wouldn't necessarily call "fraud," but other buyers have certainly used that word already.

Take this feedback, or not. But this is how successful companies go out of business.

well said. I personally wouldn’t of cared about waiting if I knew it ahead of time. But calling me and asking for the rest of my payment to ship the following week, then waiting another 12 weeks on top of that was pretty messed up to me.
Doesn’t matter how good the product would of been, the run around is what made me back out

Yes. I agree 100% that communication would have quelled the majority of the issues. I did sales for fun on the side here and there. I started out as a customer because their price and delivery on iron Man was amazing. When I found out that they do a lot for the community and veterans I really enjoyed that and eventually started selling parts. The growth did happen exponentially faster than anyone expected. I know there were a few investors that came through all the way to the point to the end. That's when we found out some of these investors may not have been ideal or realistic. I know having the new shop was very helpful for getting orders for Phil. But it seems like once again the volume of orders coming in combined with steel shortages combined with past orders not being complete is just a wreck!

An affordable set of high quality sliders do me no good if I don't have them. Filed a complaint with NY State consumer protection and a chargeback with my bank. I wasn't going to be the bag holder when this company folds.
