So I replaced the front struts and rear shocks on the 2010 taco, it has 134k on it. I replaced them last year and noticed this, but I figured it would just take some time to settle. It didn’t. I think the front end is sitting a couple inches higher. I want the truck to be at least level, if not the back end a little higher. What should I do?

If you measure from center hub to bottom of vendor what are your measurements in the front and in the rear

In addition to the center hub to bottom fender measurements that @Geeves77 mentioned, some more details on what exactly you're running for suspension (including settings if applicable) would help, for starters.

Looks level to me. Maybe angle in pic is misleading? You don't have many options other than to lift the rear. Put a level on the frame to check if its really off; dont forget to be on level ground.

Is the rear leafpack original or TSB?
Either way stock leafpack is weak and can sag

I don't think you can lower the front end,
but if you want to raise the back to sort of achieve the same effect, you can always keep it mild cheap & simple starting with an AAL

I don't know if just 1 AAL requires a switch to a "lift compatible" shock such as 5100 and up vs OE fitment 4600

Thanks everyone for the response. I took measurements and the front is 21” and rear is 20”

the leaf springs were replaced around 80k I think due to a factory recall. I replaced the front struts and rear shocks around 125k, now at 135k. I used these two products from Oreillys (pictures):

If I take it to a suspension shop, how much do they typically charge for the AAL?

Did you torque the lower coilover mounting bolt when the suspension was under all vehicle weight? Or did you torque the lower bolt with the suspension at full droop/extension? Same question for LCA and UCA if you loosened those fastners.

I torqued everything at full extension when I had it jacked up and the tire off.

While it's on the ground, loosen the nut on the bottom of each of the struts, then re-torque. If not, you'll have those bottom bushings in a bind and they'll eventually separate. You'll have trouble getting that bolt out in the future and that bushing will eat itself up.

Generally speaking stock is around ~20" front and ~22" rear. I know the rear leafs flatten over time, but still a little surprised with the height you're reporting unless of course its being driven by that tool box in the bed. How much does that weigh unloaded and loaded?

Sounds like you did the front/rear shocks yourself, so is there a reason you're not wanting to tackle the rear leaf situation yourself?

    Winkel, okay will do.

the tool box is super light and I usually keep it empty. I looked at some YouTube videos of the add a leaf install, but I guess I’m just wanting a pro to fix it for me. I just don’t want to get taken for a ride so to speak.

i really want to keep this truck around. Tacomas are like a good woman - you like her even more as time goes on.

That's not right. Pull the new ones back out compare to the old side by side. Are they different lengths? Are the new ones assembled incorrectly?

Bingo! And I would re-torque the bottom bolt of the coil overs ASAP.
