New guy, with new truck, in PNW

Howdy. Recently bought a new Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Was delivered last month. Not our first Toyota or first Tacoma, (but this is our first factory new vehicle) First Toyota was a 1990 extra cab Tacoma, then a ‘97 4Runner, then a 2004 Tacoma Pre-Runner, then a 2007 TRD Sport (that one had recurring rear-end problems and was our first lemon). Traded that one in for a 2012 TRD Sport, which my wife claimed. My 2007 Nissan X-Terra has been in need of some significant maintenance which would have it off the road for a while. So, wife said I should update and we can get the Xterra taken care of over time and it can be our back-up vehicle.

Currently living in Washington State, retired from the Navy after 24 years as a Hospital Corpsman.

Actually taken aback a bit by all of the technology packed into this 2022 Taco. One thing I have not been impressed with, is the dash cam that it came equipped with as part of a package I didn’t even know was in the package on this truck when I ordered it. Adhesive holding it to the windshield failed at 2 weeks on paved roads. I think in one of the times of it falling off the windshield the power connector must have gotten damaged, as the camera no longer comes on anymore.

torn between having the dealership replace it or just delete it or replace it with something better.
