Hello people! Introducing myself here, my name is Edgar McArthur. I am a proud owner of a 2013 Tacoma TX Baja Series. I co-pilot and chase for an off-road racing team, Acoplados Racing, in Baja, MX. I primarily use my Tacoma for chasing and to get to and from home to Baja races, hence only +/-78K miles on my Tacoma. Low mileage but the miles on it have been rough, mostly off road terrain, hard, technical, and rough terrain. Only mods are bumpers, roof rack, and bed tire rack, no suspension or engine mods. Having said this, my questions will mostly be about suspension because with the beating my Tacoma has gone through, I think it need some T&L.

    Still thinking about it.
Nothing is cooler than the fact that you are putting hard miles on stock suspension while most big money lifted pretenders never leave the pavement.

Thank you all. Yes, my truck has taken me in and out of some gnarly baja trails, that BajaTX "stock" suspension has turned out awesome and I have definitely pushed its limits. Although I don't condemn it, to each its own, it's funny but I do see many trucks out here with expensive setups that have never left the pavement, kinda makes me feel jealous at times. Lol. However, as I mentioned in my intro, I primarily joined the forum to get info on replacing or refreshing my suspension. I think it has given what it has and need to freshen up. So here's my train of thought: I had ordered a complete RC setup, why RC?, I have several chase friends that have opted for RC because of price, since we use our trucks to chase, replacing shocks or other parts (which is more often than not) is much more affordable with RC rather than Fox or King, plus I have heard nothing but positive feedback from them regarding RC. However, I am open to any suggestions. Ok, so I ordered the RC kit and turns out RC specifically noted that the kit will not fit BajaTX models. I called them and they said it can be done, however, significant mods will have to be done. I'm not a fan of major mods, so I opted to return it and got my refund. Now my dilemma is, is there a kit out there that can replace my current suspension without making any major mods or do I just have to replace everything with the original Bilstein stuff? Again, I am open to using King, Fox, etc. Thank you. Also, please let me know if this question is good here or if I should just open up another thread.
