I am spinning my wheels (literally) on how far these rims will stick out on my truck. I want them to SLIGHTLY poke but nothing too aggressive.

Looking at the Pro Comp 7069 7983, 17" rim, 6x5.5 bolt pattern with a -6 offset.
Picture of my truck with the current set up. But I need new rims!!!!

Can I see pictures of these rims on your truck?! Wondering how far my -6 offset would push my tires outside of the fender flares?!
    Thank you!!

IMG-1532.jpg IMG-1531.jpg IMG-1531.jpg backspacing is just as important as offset...so thats my first question, whats the backspacing? I have Fuel Revolvers at offset of -1 and they barely...and I mean BARELY poke out...

so, -6 is going to poke out a bit further than mine, not much though I have 5 inch backspacing. I have seen people using -10...so..you're not frogging them at -6

thanks for the pics!!! mine are 270/65 on 17 rims. how much more do you think they will poke out?
I wasn't sure if I should go with the 0 offset but.. I can't find the pro comps in a 0. Just the -6.

If theyre the same backspacing, they will be 6 mm wider, as in sticking out 6mm more than what you have now, so like 1/4 inch or so

thank you for all of your help. I think -6 is exactly what I want. -12 is just too much and 0 maybe just isn't enough.... but I wish I could see two trucks with the different offsets to be able to compare. -18 is just WAYYY too aggressive ha ha...

Makes sense about the back spacing...... I never understood it all but it is making sense. kind of haha!!

Keep asking if you want to see, someone might have them installed with the offset youre looking for, and happy to help!
