Anyone here an appliance repairman?

I'm sure the obvious answer is that this microwave is now junk, but maybe not. I don't have a few extra hundred bucks to buy a new one, so I was trying to repair this old one that had a bad magnetron. I was able to watch a few videos and get the old Megatron out and a new one in, but then I noticed this:
The old magnetron put a giant burn mark in the metal frame of the microwave. I'm just wondering if it's safe to use or if I should junk the whole thing. The metal piece is part of the frame and doesn't look like it's replaceable.

However, try Googling the brand and model number, their could have been a recall on it

(I got a new dishwasher in a house I bought that way…)

I was googling around, and it does appear there was some sort of campaign bulletin sent out but it doesn't seem to be a recall.
I will try and call GE on Monday though and cry a bit to see what they'll do for me, if anything
