2005 V6 A/T 94k miles. Recently started to make a whining sound when running. Same sound in any gear, at any speed. Sounds like air sucking but vacuum hoses look ok. No electrical issues and belt looks fine. Any clues?

Alternator. Get a mechanics stethoscope or a piece of hose and listen to the alterator.

Good guess. My alternator started making a whine around 130k on my 2007. A mechanic stethoscope or 1-2' piece of small diameter piping works well or screwdriver with funnel. Lots of different ways to check, I know youtube has some good videos/examples.
