I did not see any 3rd Gen Tacos at Team Toyota in Langhorne (less than 2 miles from CarMax) that were worth taking in-depth pictures of, but they definitely have more trucks in stock than Thompson Toyota in Doylestown!

Gosh that makes me so sad that those are "not the worst prices" when I got mine for 32k (37k after taxes and fees) brand new. Good ol' inflation and lack of supply.

 

Thompson Toyota in Doylestown had an Access Cab SR with TRD OR wheels and over 60K miles on the clock for like $38K a couple months ago! My base model RC 2nd Gen with almost 150K miles is worth about $12K!

 

I thought about moving back to a TRD from the sr5. But after a nice long drive I get over 20mpg with the 4 banger.only issue was the transmission searching around 72mph

 

I purchased my tacoma on carmax and I couldnt have been more pleased. I had been searching over a year for an access cab manual transmission gen3, like all the websites, all the notifications. I only saw 1 or 2 pop up at a time and they were always across the country. Then one day the perfect truck popped up on carmax 20 miles away and I immediately clicked reserve. I waltzed in at my leisure, took it for a test drive, got my financing in order and purchased it for the same price as was stated. Drove the thing home feeling like a million bucks. Zero back and forth, no negotiation, literally the best car buying experience I've ever had.

Sweet ride; Congrats! Yeah, Carmax seems to be a cut above the typical dealer; When my dad was staioned at the Pentagon from 2002 to 2005, we went to the Carmax in Dulles all the time and would spend hours walking the lot!
