Welp, I finally got around to installing these... took about 45 min and it is night and day.
Pending they last 5 years, worth the $65.
If you are an audiophile and enjoy crispy poppn sound... I would try em.
I dont have experience with the subaru tweets, but I would imagine they are on par with those.
    Daddy happy.

I bought a set and installed them on Tuesday. Plug and play. Sound better than the stock tweeter for sure.

I’ve had them in for a month and love them. Fit was just as good as the Subaru tweeters and the sound is clear but not harsh.

Has anybody compared these DS18s side by side to the Subaru/Kicker ones?

I just ordered a set since they have a Memorial Day weekend sale. Can’t go wrong with the price since I’m not really investing a whole lot into the sound in my truck yet. I’ll try to install them myself but I have zero experience doing this kind of stuff.

Yeah, its pretty easy. Just watch the plastic clip pieces. Other than that, its a few bolts and plug and play. I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.

I havent, but just looking at the specs, they seem to be pretty similar. I wouldnt imagine a huge difference if anything.

Nice! Got mine installed on Saturday, a great little upgrade for the cost/effort.

Package just arrived! Hopefully once my work for today is done, I’ll go outside to install these.

So did you notice a difference? I am guessing the answer is yes.

Indeed. I unplugged the DS18 and plugged the OEMs again to listen to bohemian rhapsody and then plugged the new ones back in to hear the difference. Overall, good upgrade.
