I believe the proper way to weed eat would be prior to mowing but I actually do it after mowing. Easier to see what needs trimmed. I the reasoning for trimming first is so the mower can pick it up.:)

Edit; this reason was given to me by a old neighbor.
I think his job title was Cemetery Sexton. Lol
Could be way off...need to goggle it.

I agree, if the weedeating is thick it's best to do it before so the mower can chew it up and make it look neater. If I do it before I do too much, lol.

I weedeat first, makes it easier to mow around things plus I've got two small stumps that like to hide under the grass. They'll be dug out or burned out in a couple weeks (hopefully).

Have you all seen the new traffic patterns?

I hate weed eating…. I’ve been on a landscaping campaign to remove grass I can’t cut with the mower.

Stone, bulb gardens. Might make weeding an issue if I skimp on the mulch.

Congratulations to you and your wife @tacotoe . Glad to hear she’s home. Wishing you both continued well-being.

    ‘Morning all :hattip:

I’ve heard, I still get weather reports from my family:rofl:I guess the trade off here is low humidity and not a lot of bugs.

It never really bothered me that much, I do miss it, Ohio in general. Texas has been good though, I'd like a little more green around and maybe be closer to family but I can't really complain.
My sister gets married in September, they mentioned moving to central Texas. My brother talked about it too. We've talked about going in to buy land and splitting up the acreage between us.
