Question: I just got a BAMF steel plate high clearance front bumper and was planning on getting some BD Squadron Pro lights installed. I was wondering if they have adapters that would allow me to utilize the original Tacoma fog light switch? The adapters that I've been seeing on Cali Raised and Baja seems specific for 2012-15. Am I missing something? Are they the same? I'm trying not to cut the original OE plug. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

You don't have to cut into anything. You can you the cramp style connector that loop around the wire and use a the tool.
Are you replacing the old fogs with Baja Designs or are you trying to run both on your new bumper?

As long as the stock fogs are more than or 40 watts each than the stock system stuff will work fine. Otherwise you have to figure something out.

10 aps will give 120watts to work with
20 amp gives 240 watts to play with in a 12 volt system is my understanding.

Thanks for the response. I'm not planning on cutting anything from the original wiring / connector. I am planning on replacing the old fogs with Baja Designs but wanted to utilize the OE wiring and button. I still have to make sure the OE fog light amps are sufficient for the BD Squadrons though.

@TXpro4X4 What connector do I need to purchase? What tool are you talking about?

To answer your question, the Baja harnesses running straight of your OEM stuff is totally fine.

I have 1 squadron pro and 1 S2 pro per side on mine, all OEM wiring. 2 years no issues at all.

Adapters for what you are trying to do are readily available. You are looking for a "2pin weatherpack-H11 adapter". If you call up Baja Designs directly they'll sell them to you for like $10, or you can find them all day on Amazon/Ebay.
