I apologize if this thread has already been created, I did not find one related.

Recently, I was doing Fins N' Things out in Moab and found it incredibly difficult to turn my steering wheel when offroading. I haven't had this experience before and I had to back up/ go forward to correct the steering wheel to drive the correct lines. Tires weren't blocked by any obstacles and some of the time it was on relatively flat rock surfaces.

Any thoughts or advice on this? Is this normal?

Pretty normal in my experience, the rack and pump are relatively small and if you're off camber with weight on in high traction surfaces or high resistance surfaces (rocks and sand like moab) it's going to be harder to turn.

Only real solution is a modified tundra rack and upgraded pump or git stronk.

    1. Don't skip arm day at the gym.
    2. 4WD makes it hard to turn.

Yeah, I was in 4wd. I guess I was unsure due to the inconsistent difficulty.

haha, you're not wrong on that. Okay, so 4wd in general on these makes it difficult. Thank you.
