265/70R17 on stock?

Here’s a photo of my taco with 265/70r17 TRD style wheels. On General Grabber ATX

 

16 TRD Sport owner and the truck is still stock. I’m set on buying the SEMA 17” TRD Pro rims with the Falken Wildpeak ATW3 tires. From what I’ve read here this combination (in 265/70R17) will result in some rubbing and that’s something I don’t want. Is there anyone here who is running that rim/tire set but in the stock tire size of 265/65R17? Would like to see how it looks on a stock TRD Sport so photos would be awesome.

PTR20-35110-BK on my STOCK 21 Tacoma DCSB OR with 265/70/17 KO2's and I dont rub street driving at all. I have my mud flaps too. Not sure about when I go offroading. But so far no rubbing at all full lock to lock.

 

Stock susp with 265/70/17 General Grabber ATX SL load and RokBlokz, No rubbadubdub! I should have gone this route in the first place. Now I have to sell these…

 

Just put these on today

KMC Canyon KM719 17x8.5 0mm offset with Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/70/17
Haven’t taken it off-road but and have not had any rubbing on the streets

Update:
Did some wheeling today on a moderate trail and had the suspension flexing without any noticeable rubbing. Closest the tire got to the fender was about 1/2” from what I could see

 

I am running 4Runner wheels with 265/70R17 with out any issues

Just got em on 265 70 17 falken wildpeak at3w on method 703s in black, 17x8.5 with no rubbing

 

I would like to get the same exact set of wheels, but I have a 2” lift and 1.25” spacer, could I fit 285/70R17 without rubbing you think?

Rubbed a little on right hand turns onto incline but heat gun on the mudflap solved it.

I've got Bushwacker Fendies and need some pokey.

I'm slated to get TRD Suspension Kit which is a Lift (2" in the front/1" in the back).

So, when the time comes...I wanna get 275/70R17s with either a "0 Offset" or a "-10 Offset".

Slight rub on stock mudflaps if no adjustments, I am swapping out for Rek Gen flaps

 

The Cooper Rugged Trek is almost a true 32” at 3.89”. My stock mud flaps didn’t fit comfortably either. Going to put a set up Rokblokz on tonight hopefully

 

Looks good! What brand mudflaps do you have? I just put 265 70 17 on too and my Rek Gens started rubbing. Might need to heat gun it too or find a different brand.

 

I put Rokblokz on mine and have no rubbing, but my wheels are also +4 offset

 

Oh perfect! I have the exact same wheels as you (TRD wheels) with +4 offset and Falken AT4’s. I’ll probably pick up some Rokblokz then. Thank you!
