Have an sPod Bantam X and an ARB Single Onboard Air Compressor and looking to not use the factory wiring loom. Can anyone confirm if this wiring setup would be correct or do I need to use the included ARB relay along with it? The sPOD Bantam connection would be one of the Output connections at the bottom, not the standard pwr/gnd. Thanks!

That will not work. At all. First, there is nothing switching the power to the compressor, it will run constantly and not switch off so either the pressure builds up until something blows or the motor can't overcome the pressure, stalls, and continues to draw max current until it burns up or blows the fuse. Secondly, you've created a short from your sPOD output when the pressure switch is "on".

Yes, you need to use the relay. The relay trigger needs to be in series with your sPOD output and the pressure switch and the load side of the relay needs to be in line with the main power to the compressor.
