    For what it's worth, I offered him $1k and was willing to go higher since buying a new cap was a 4-5 month wait and likely $3500+. He said I was offering too much and told me to give him $500, which I promptly did lol. Super nice guy, he was happy to sell it to me. Even helped me install it on my truck

    Front leveling kit, side steps, tonneau cover, decked bed system
    But even a grand used is cheaper than new in the NE area. I'm looking at a minimum 4 week lead time which would probably get pushed with the way supply chains are still out of wack. And would have to pay around twice that before you throw in sales tax and possibly an install fee
