I've got a 2006 Full Cab 4WD. The brakes have always been soft since I bought it used at about 80K miles. If I really need to stop on a hurry (Like an emergency stop), I've had to give it two pumps and it would stop just fine. I thought there was maybe a little air in the lines so I bled them extensively...I mean I completely flushed the old fluid out and replaced with new using a pneumatic bleeder so I know there isn't any air in the lines now. I have not specifically bled the master cylinder, though. About a week after that some lady cut me off and I hit my brakes harder than I ever have. Ever since then, my brakes have been really sensitive yet extra soft (but no ABS light yet). About two weeks after that the ABS light started coming off and on...two days later the ABS light is on solid.
To keep this short, I used the jumper wire method to pull the ABS codes. They are as follows:
31 - Right Front Wheel Sensor
32 - Left Front Wheel Sensor
33 - Right Rear Wheel Sensor
34 - Left Reat Wheel Sensor
38 - Metal Stick to Speed Sensor (Right Rear)
41 - Low Battery Positive Voltage
44 - Open or Short in deceleration sensor unit

So, with this entire menu of codes, I'm starting off assuming the wheel sensors are ok and something up stream is the issue. I want to start with the deceleration sensor unit. I can't seem to find a good online source telling me where its located.

    1) Does anyone have any ideas as to what my overall issue might be or what I should do to diagnose?
    2) Anyone know where the Deceleration Sensor is located?

The other forums for pulling the codes have been quite helpful! Thank you!

So I'll reply to my own post in hopes that it helps someone with the same problem. I ended up inspecting each individual wheel speed sensor and guess what...there was grease and goop on my rear passenger sensor which means I probably need to think about rebuilding/replacing that bearing. In any case, I cleaned it up, cleared the codes and drove it for about 2 miles. The ABS light came on again but now it's only code 33 which is that rear passenger sensor. I'll need to figure out what I'm going to do but to sum this up, I got all those error codes and it appears that after taking each one off, cleaning them (including the mounting surfaces with sand paper whilst clogging the holes with something so as to not get debris in the hub), it turned off all the codes (I had to do the brake pedel thing to reset the ABS codes) and the only one I'm having a problem with now is the one I know that has a leaking bearing which is allowing goop to attach to the sensor which activates that code 33.

Interesting...I had the exact same problem. Rear ABS sensor would come on, but only intermittently, Toyota techs couldn’t figure out why. I ignored it for a few weeks, was really busy.

Then I started hearing that familiar bearing groaning noise, replaced the bearing, no more ABS light...all this at roughly 150,000 miles, 6 months ago.

Ever have any luck finding the sensor? I've seen 1000 threads telling where it is on a Gen 1, but no luck finding it anywhere for my 2006.
