Right... this is just hearsay. But if it were to be true... well

Chinese Fakewhackers cleaned up, painted, and modified to actually bolt through. Not too bad. They fit waaaaaaaay better than I expected. $125 for the full set of flares, another $80 for paint and stainless hardware.

Today's travel update is brief. The highlight of the day was when we were passing through Hickman County, TN and saw a sign for Bucksnort. As we were laughing about that a truck towing a small construction trailer passed is. The trailer had "Putzmeister" on the side.

Other than that, it was a pretty quiet ride.

After laughably bad communication, my QuickJack finally arrived. I'll have to try and set it up this weekend. Of course my shed in a box is allegedly arriving tomorrow and the side the Vette is on has some floor issues, so I'll have to get creative to test it all out.

Everything might finally be coming together.

The cost of a building plus outfitting it didn't end up saving anything over traditional stick built. In the south they have people who just specialize in it from beginning to end though, and it's a lot more cost effective

Somewhere on TW there's a thread that shows how to pop the detail panels out of 2nd gen door interiors to re-skin them - some member re-does the shitty grey fabric w/ leather and I want to do the same thing. I can't, for the life of me, find the thread. Anyone know what I'm talking about and where to find it?
