Yep I'd bet they'd get that. Single cabs have blown up in value.

Funny, I actually checked out the truck in person a couple days after it was posted and made him an offer (23k cash on hand) but he declined. Really nice guy, straight forward, honest, but he clearly doesn't want to sell it lol The truck is cherry thought, super clean. My budget was 20k so I though I would raise for the right truck but can't do 26k right now. Cant find anything similar anywhere!!

I like it. Except for the TRD stickers. I don’t like when people label things that they aren’t.
It either is, or it isn’t.

A lot of it for me, started back when people where putting Z71 stickers on the Chevy trucks, and listing the for sell. Ever since then, I just haven’t liked any badges that weren’t “correct”.

Same here! I asked him about it and he straight up said he regrets doing it, but just liked the look for it. Didn't try to fool me telling me was a sport. I can respect that I guess...

How do you guys think it will do on BAT? Thought about borrowing 3k and trying that lol

I think the sport badges are pretty harmless. He's not trying to fool anyone he just was trying to build a single cab sport for the novelty of it. He went out and got the wheels, the white grill surround and paintmatched bumper, All that's missing is the hood scoop.

I like subtle modifications that would be lost on most people that aren't familiar with Tacomas. But when added up together they make for a pretty sharp truck

Honestly, that looks really clean and I am kind of digging it. If he'd swapped out the hood with a scooped one I would never have realized that it wasn't a factory regular cab TRD Sport.

It would need the scooped hood, signal mirrors and an inverter in the bed.

Still the truck looks great and you can tell the guy put time and effort in to making/keeping it what it is.

Nice truck, but a single cab? I wouldn't give $10 for it. They look goofy, IMO, and no room to push the seat and seatback back. Non-starter for anyone who isn't vertically challenged.

Not really. I realize that style is "to each their own". But I have always disliked the way how single cabs looked, even back to that's when all there was (I am old). And my hate grew exponentially after I had to ride in my friend's gen 1 single cab Tacoma a number of times. My back and knees still haven't recovered. And being a function over style guy I have to ask, where the heck are you supposed to put your golf clubs in a single cab, for god's sake?? YMMV, of course.

Plenty of idiots in California, but not enough to pay 26k. Its been that price for 3 weeks. The market has spoken and he aint getting 26K.

I saw a Tacoma locally a little while back for 24,000$, I didn’t stop to look a specifics, DCSB.

I’d rather take 24k and drop it into my truck than buy anything new or newer/used. I could do a lot to my truck with 24k.

That's crazy to me that you would consider paying that, even though it's a nice truck. I feel like he'd get around 20 on bring a trailer. I'm also shocked he didn't accept 23 and buy you lunch on top of it
