Tacoma acts likes its skipping/Sluggish upon slow acceleration in normal driving mode, does not do it with ECT engaged.
Anyone else have this problem or know what it could be?

    Welcome to TW.

That’s how these trucks are programmed, for the best MPGs. So that’s why they feel sluggish at times.

An OV tune will solve your issues.

How many never take a real test drive before dropping a wad

How many never research a vehicle on a user site (not fluff automotive or consumer reports article)

How many drop their bombs in the new member forum instead of the appropriate forum

How many choose to ignore the search feature a miss hundreds of posts on similar topics.

Actually, I guess it is believable, as it happens quite regularly. :D

Why waste your energy here then? Why not just go back and check out some other posts that interest you?

I like to use talc to powder under my V6. :rasta:

But seriously the V6 has plenty of power you just need to put your foot into it.
