Hey tacoma bros! As some of us in canada know sliders can be hard to come by here because of shopping costs. What is a fairly common and economical upgrade to our American brethren can be a costly and time consuming task here in canada. After searching sites and forums for what seemed like forever, I found a thread on here about Balmer fab in Abbotsford. I contacted them about new slidders and immediately felt these were the guys for me. From the start his biggest concern was getting it exactly to my specs. I live a few hrs away from Abbotsford so there was no chance I was gonna leave my truck down there for measurements and install. We talked it through on the phone and I ended up placing the order a couple weeks later a buddy of mine picked them up in Abbotsford and drove them up when we met for a fishing trip. These are bolt on sliders canted at an 18° angle(i think thats what it we settled on. It was somwhere between 15-20°) and we were all very interested/nervous to see how they fit seeing as they were made having never seen my truck. I needed a few other things done on my truck so I decided to drop everthing off at my favorite offroad shop and have itball installed at once. A few hours later when I came back and everything was done. They fit like a glove. The installers all wanted to know who made these sliders. Everyone thought they must have been some big American company. I can't rave about them enough. The techs that put them on raved about the install. Every loves the way they look. In the end I got custom sliders to my specs for the price of some mass produced American product. I got to keep my money local and I made a great contact with I guy I trust. I can't say enough about Balmer Fab in Abbotsford.
