I saw that, seems to be the unfortunate result of dealer negligence and poorly written laws.
It just seems wrong that they can go after the owner for this but aparently the law says they can.

I talked to my attorney about it and he said it has something to do with the state constitution or Attorney General's regulations in Michigan. People think the pastures are greener but every place has its issues.

 

For sure there's stupid, poorly written, obscure and/or useless laws and regulations no matter where you live although some areas are worse than others.

 

The fact is, he wasn't licensed to drive anything, hopefully this gets thrown out.
