So I have play in all directions on my wheel, mainly side to side. Not sure what I should be looking at when I shake them. I have clunking when it articulates and steering vibrations on the highway. The grease from my upper ball jointa seems to come out after a short period of time and then it has play as well. I took it to toyota and they said the upper ball joint was installed incorrectly and redid it but it still has the same issue. Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks

The second video shows a better angle of the upper ball joint and is more indictive of its direction of motion, sure seems to have a bit of excessive play likely due to the ball joint being shot. Also not surprised they're shot.. I mean they are SPC's:duel:. Personally I'd get new ball joints ASAP an ideally not drive the truck until they're replaced.

Does it mean anything that when I grease them the play goes mostly away?
Can I use anything in an spc uca besides the spc ball joints?

Can't tell from this angle if its upper ball joint alone.

    Its 100% not safe regardless.

When you move the wheel, put your hand on the ball joint, it shouldnt have any play.

May also have wheel bearing play, but you need to make sure.
