I see, I'll probably play it safe and replace it. But, those things are like no other gasket I've seen, they have built in metal spacers for the nuts that hold it on--just got me thinking.

I saw a video of a guy replacing his transmission fluid, and after he drained, he pulled the pan there was a ton of fluid in there a cup or more maybe?. Then, he pulled the filter and maybe a cup or more came out. I thought it was significant to remove that little bit of fluid. Granted, as the video mentioned, there is still fluid in the torque converter, so, I'll give it some thought whether I change the fluid twice the same weekend to get a better 'cleanse' with the upcoming fluid change.

Did you use the marine sealant or any silicone? Oops I just saw that you did.

Did the pinch weld "mod" today. AKA hit it with a hammer until it's flat. 20220514_170347.jpg 20220514_171251.jpg

Than i installed the RokBlok mudflaps. Some people don't like the look of mudflaps. But I see them as protective gear for my trucks paint and the people behind me when I drive over gravel. 20220514_192409.jpg

Busy day, finally got around to adding a third brake light. Shaped a piece of aluminum flat stock, rattle can black and bolted it to the rack. Wired it using a @Puppypunter harness. Then bolted up the TRD skid plate and Talons Garage Cat protector plate.

If the threads aren't hosed up, put some Marvel Mystery oil or ATF on the bolt and threads a couple of times a day for a two days. Warm it up with a MAP gas torch and give it a try with a big ass wrench. If that doesn't do it, it ain't coming off.

It's an Xtrusion Overland. It's pretty cool. Very modular. I added two crossbars to the top to attach a Thule cargo box and kayak rack.

Nope I just took both hooks off and folded the back of the headliner just enough room to get in there. I also used tape to hold the washers when installing so they wouldn't fall and get lost.

It is 100 % the boat.. Truck does not squat without it. I noticed it too.. Might be from the hitch I have and it's angle to make it lower. Also the hill maybe.. Dunno but do not like it

Gave my Tacoma some TLC today! Washed, vacuumed inside, and cleaned the engine bay.

I just had to look! I like the lights but notice they use the same connection as the puddle pods. How will this work if we want to add the footwell lights to a puddle pod setup?

They sell a splitter cable on their website you can buy so you can run both the puddle and footwell lights together

    Behind again! :anonymous:

    • Installed the @MESO dual color map lights
    • I managed to install the ARB dual compressor on the passenger side of the engine compartment
    • I installed the ARB tank by having a buddy of mine fabricate up a mount behind (in front of?) the drivers side taillight
    • I installed a Horn Blaster's electronic solenoid to drain out condensation in the air tank
    • Installed the QD air chuck by the rear license place
    • Connected the compressor trigger to the SwitchPro, connected the solenoid to the SwitchPro, and configured the solenoid to be momentary only
    • Installed an Absolute-Wits-End ARB air chuck pacifier
    • Installed @MESO's V5 turn signals
    • Installed a set of BAMF bolt on sliders
    • Installed the @MESO ultimate tail lights
    • Finally did a heavy duty wash on the truck, followed by a ceramic coating
    • Installed the @MESO puddle pods and wired up my port installed LED Illumination Package to the splitter so when I purchase the switch, I'll be able to control all of the lights from it
    • And lastly, I installed @oostroma's LED shift knob with @MESO's stealth shift buttons
