Just picked up my DCLB OR. I’m over six feet tall and the side of the center console digs into my calf when driving. Has anyone else found a solution to this, i.e. an extension piece that comes out further? There’s no way I’m the only tallish person with a Tacoma.

Move your seat back further so you can straighten your legs more? Im struggling to picture how your calf is anywhere near the center console? Mine sits right above the gas peddle when i'm driving. I'm 6'4" and have never experienced what you're describing, I've got nothing but leg room when I'm driving. :notsure:

I wish the steering wheel telescoped a bit more than it does for that to work. This isn’t an issue in my crosstrek. Thanks

Might need to look into seat jackers such as these, not sure what brand people typically go with but that seems to be the solution for most people 6ft+

i am really tall, i got the seat jackers and have no more issues with discomfort. The seat jackers definitely improve everything. I did the front of the seats only as I'm already tall enough.

Try some alternative seating positions - further back and up& down on the seat…

I am over 6’ and have no problems at all with the issue you describe… - I can’t even picture it.

(Do you ride horses a lot? Maybe a severe bow-leggedness as a result?
    :D )

I’ll have a look next time I am in the taco.

I’m 6’2” and added seat jack blocks on the front of the drivers seat. A little more adjustment to the steering wheel would be nice but not necessary.

Amazon has center console knee pads that you can stick on anywhere that you calves or knees are hitting.
