So moms been a difficult patient!
Rehab wants her out can’t say I blame them.
They are saying she needs 24/7 support.
I don’t really agree but also don’t want her being alone as much as she is.
I got her a 1 bedroom suite at a local assisted living community. Hate to see the house go but it’s time I guess.
Guess the wife and I could buy it but it’s more maintenance than I want, I’d love to have the garage but like having the low maintenance house I own outright.
Moms doing good though still tough as nails.
Me I’m a wreck trying to give mom what she wants, my brother well he’s A everyone needs to be like me ass.
Work is busy as hell surprisingly with the covid crap but we are.
Dad would be proud but disappointed I didn’t take his house I believe.
I did clean and wax his John Deere mower and tractor, along with a few odds and ends inside sinks toilets ceilings etc.
Can’t believe my original post was 2018 seems like it’s been a lot longer than that without the old man!
He was a great guy and is very missed!
    Love you dad!!!
And TW has been a huge supporter of both maintenance of myself and my Tacoma’s.

    Thank you
    Jeff

    Hey bud!
    Actually doing ok!
I was hoping mom would like the place and she does!!!
Sad to see the house go but she enjoys the company where she is a lot.
Funny she didn’t ask for dads chair etc to put in her place but good cause I think she’s doing has what she wants.
The Meds have been an issue but we need to get rid of what’s not needed I could have filled half a shopping cart with the crap she said she needs!

I appreciate you checking up on me buddy.
    Jeff

    Hey everyone!
Me again and the roller coaster keeps going and faster at that!
I moved whatever she wanted to make her comfortable to her independent living.
She was happy played bingo out walking at 9 pm even.
Brother convinced her she’d lose the house and he and wife would move in to let her stay at home.
Brother was no help from the start can’t see it working.
Told her I disagree to sell and stay its about you enjoying your time?
    @BINK05TRD
I agree and appreciate all of you who have helped me thru this!
I continue to be amazed by the good people here!

    Thank You!
    We are doing ok.
Moms not real happy living with my brother but she’s home so if she’s ok with it that’s what matters.
She did more at the assisted living but she’s home anyway.

    Happy Holidays everyone!
    Be Safe!

    You were a good son!

Your father, like mine, might’ve thought he could have been a better Dad.

We spend so much time trying to live up to expectations that we can forget how much we fulfill others and vice-versa.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
23 years my Dad has been gone; it seems like 11:00 am this morning. He’s my Hero B5E02E54-8114-443D-9D1B-B35FB48BF66E.jpgRoyal Canadian Navy aboard a Corvette with Bugs Bunny on the focsal. 22 years old. He was the most gentle man. I NEVER heard him swear or speak badly about anyone; ever.

    Awesome pic!
Most the old pics I have are him in lime green or bright blue leisure suits for work.
Our just jeans and a white t-shirt holding a beer and wearing his watch with face on inside of wrist so it didn’t get so beat up.
