I know there are a ton of brands out there. I’m looking to get the best camper for the money. I don't want to drop a small fortune on a big name when I can get the same quality for le$$. I haven’t done much research on this as of yet was hoping for some input from some of the guys that have dropped the money and can help me with my decision. You all have been a great help in the past hoping I can get a little more help! Any input will be greatly appreciated. I have a DC/SB I don't know it makes any difference thanks.

    Camper. Canopy . Cap .

Camper you can stand up in .

Canopy and cap are names for the same thing , usage is apparently regional .

    Which do you want ?

I looked around a lot before committing to a cap. I went with snugtop's rebel. It appeared to give the most bang for the buck with snugtop's reputation. Its a good fit to the Tacoma and comes with a single rear lock, anti drip rear window, drop down front window and I had Thue tracks installed on the roof for future kayak hauling. The sungtop roof is a thick honeycomb design as used in their hard touneau covers - super strong and durable. The color match is good with the pyrite mica color. Cap mounts easy to the Tacoma's in bed cargo rail system.

    my two cents -
