I did a search and found TW, with a reference that stated 28 lbs. When I did a winter tire swap of 4 tires/8 wheels from the original steel wheels on the 2009 Gen2 (this PN) I weighed these at 28 lbs. The Gen3 TRD Offroad wheels weighed 1.4 lbs. less. both are 16x7J and I was wondering about the "25" cast on the inside of the alloy rims. That's the offset, and I will look on the inside of the steel wheels stacked in the garage for that marking.

Found my old notes: the OEM steel wheels PN 42601-AD041 (42601-AD040) weighed an average of 28.4 lbs. (3 @ 28.4 lbs., 1 @ 28.6 lbs.) while the Gen3 TRD Offroad wheels weighed 27.0 lbs. (my takeoff set came with Toyota emblem hub centers).

Weights were measured on a digital bathroom scale, after unboxing and before waxing the alloy wheels. Adhesive balance weights may have accounted for the 3.2 ounces difference on that heavier wheel.
I looked this afternoon, and did not find any offset markings on the steel wheels, which I would have expected to find somewhere on the rim opposite the 16x7J 10 08 DOT stamping (2009 Tacoma so October 2008 sounds right).

How much do TRD dark anthracite 16x7 wheels weigh? Part number PT946-35160. Black version should weigh the same. The latter came on my 2022 SR5 V6 from the factory.

https://parts.toyota.com/p/69528425/PT946-35160.html I would guess they're close to the same weight I measured above for the Gen3 TRD Off-Road wheels, about 27.0 lbs. I expect Toyota tries to maintain similar weight and balance, considering the durability needed for the 4wd trucks. (I lost a lot more weight switching from stock steel to Velox alloy wheels on the '07 Malibu.) I suppose you could call a dealer and ask, but that might be a special order for them in the supply chain...

Many thanks. The stock SR5 alloy wheels show 25 lbs., so I wondered if these wheels were the same weight.

It would be helpful for someone to update the first post with the FJ Cruiser OEM wheels that work nicely with our trucks.

I am currently running this wheel with 245/75 R16 and they look great on factory suspension. Fits the wheel well perfectly in my opinion.

I just picked up a set of the next wheels to give me more tire choices.

Can anyone tell me what these wheels are called, and what years they came from? Thinking of tracking some down as I think they look cool :D. Picture stolen from FB.

As far as I can tell, those look to be American Racing AR-08 which were popular in the 80s/90s but now discontinued. Maybe you can find some on eBay, good luck with the hunt!

I am driving a 2019 TRD sport Tacoma I came across some 04 4runner limited OEM 5 spokes 17" diameter 7.5"width ET30. I love the look of them I wanna use them for my winter set up { 265/65R17 Nokian Hawkapellitta 10} all the research iv done suggests that they are the same as the stock 3rd gen sport wheels. am i correct to assume that they will fit with no issues ... seems awfully close to the UCA.. currently runnin 265/65R17 Open Country AT on KMC wheels offset unknown. but they poke out passed my fender flares

@Van_island your factory wheels should be a positive 25 so a +30 would be a solid fit. Your KMC's are probably a 0 to -12 offset if they poke.

Took them to a tire shop. They confirmed the 0 offset on my current wheels Love the look of them, if my math is right wich it probably is not. Running a 1.25" spacer should push a +30mm wheel out to a -5mm offset correct??

@Van_island technically 1.25 inches equals 31.75mm. If zero is the starting offset, poke equals negative offset. So 31.75mm poke would be a -31.75 offset.

    A +30mm offset wheel. With a 1.25" spacer. Is not -30.75mm

@Van_island I misunderstood. You are talking about the +30 wheel. I do apologize. A +30 with a 1.25inch spacer would make it technically -1.75 offset.
