Just come across a weird issue, not sure if it's related to the Tails at all but it's only occurred since I installed them.

Occasionally let's say I'm about to turn left and so I have my left blinker on. It will randomly just stop working, like the flashing in the cab will stop completely as well. It stays off if I turn on my hazard lights, i.e. only the right one starts blinking, and if I switch my turn signal from left to right and then back to left, the right turn signal will work fine but the left still will not work.

    Any ideas y'all?

Sounds like a loose connection. Have you gone back and looked to make sure everything is secure?

I recently found I had the same issue. Left turn only. I've been in contact with Austin and I'm testing stock tails currently. It's so random that I'm going to test for 1 to 2 weeks because I never know when it is going to happen.

    There's another instance here:

I had the exact same problem on my old Harley and it turned out to be a loose connection

I would recommend using some di-electric grease on all the connectors. given where the taillights are mounted there are holes there in the body frame that allows a alot of dust, dirt, water/snow/ice in that area. I plugged them up with some thin rubber so less gets in there.

Are you running custom ovtune with AGM battery changes? Had something similar happen when I was using LED turn signal bulbs with wrong sized resistor added depending on which AGM changes I was running.

No, I have stock battery, no need for changes to alternator voltage. Issue did not exist prior to tails being swapped out. Closest thing was hyper flash after installing V5's in conjunction with the total tails.

I am, I haven't gotten round to checking my connections yet but that could be a possibility.

    Fresh install

Clear lens on the MGM looks insane! And the quality of the lights is insane.

I figured that. Can see the sealant bead inside. Just need to find out temp tolerances and most importantly an oven. I Did many OEM's to modify them but OEM's have to be cut open. :hattip:

I have an extra set that I bought for my neighbor, still in the box unused with receipt. I live in the Seattle area. Will to discount since I cannot return them to Meso.

I’ve been rocking these for over a month now and I love them. I had a family member drive my truck recently while I followed and noticed how dim the turn signal is compared to the brake and reverse. Anyone else notice how dim they are during day light?

They are a little dim in direct sun. Still effective and better than stock imo but I really miss the amber in the buckets from my Total Tails. Those things could been seen from a mile away and that's during the day.
